The Season Three Tournament of Champions

Season three of the WWPL tournaments are quickly coming to a close and now, we are proud to host the WWPL Tournament of Champions for the eight tournament champions in season three.

Premise---Endurance/Activity Tournament

Remember the first ToC? Well, if you don't then it goes like this: If one of your pokemon gets knocked out, it stays knocked out. You have to battle with however many pokemon you win each match with. (for example if you have 5 remaining pokemon from your round one match, then you have to use five pokemon in round two, and if you have 3 remaining from that match, the you have to use three in the finals)

However, that's only half of the fun. The other half of this year's premise revolves around what tier each match will be fought under. The first person to post, in this thread which tier they want their match to be played under gets to decide. For example, if round one has been posted and it shows me versus hypergamer, and I post that I want the match to be fought under the UU tier before he posts that he wants to battle Ubers, then I get my wish, and the match will be a UU battle.

It should add some chaos to this year's Tournament, and a little unpredictability is always fun.

rules

Anything goes (Tiers will be decided before each match, no hacks, standard WWPL clauses)

The top 4 battlers will be seeded, and the next 4 will go in as unseeded

right now, the seeds look like this (based on strength of schedule in their tournament and overall dominance)

If, for any event someone does not show up on time for their ToC match, then Blaze and Hypergamer will perform the duty of substitute, in that order.

The winner will receive a special tournament of champions banner and a special reserved spot in the hall of fame good luck and I hope you enjoy the tournament!

If your opponent does not show today (3 hours left) then a substitute will take his place.

I submit to Sarge. he won 5-0. Well 5-2 but I ran since I would have been swept.

Alright, sarge will move on to round 2 with 5 pokemon remaining.

Since 3 people did not show in round one, Blaze will replace Fan1 and Hyper will replace Bennet3, while masterzman will move on to round two with 6 pokemon remaining.
