Season 3 Tournament #1

Season 2 has now come to a close with Bennet once again coming up short. (Sorry just thought I would throw that out there.) Before we go any further we should look back at past winnings of the seasons. Winner of Season One- Latiosmaster47. Winner of Season Two- Fan1.

Well now let us move to the new rules for Season 3.

1. You will report victories and losses to me seeing as I am running the tournaments this season.

2. There will be a deadline for each round of the touraments make sure you will be there.

3. The multiple item clause is now not standard.

Ok, without further ado we can start Sign Ups.

Tournament #1 Rules


Sleep Clause: You can only put to sleep one Pokémon on an opponent's side at any time. If you use a sleep move to put one Pokémon asleep, you cannot use it again to put another Pokémon asleep until the first one wakes up. Yawn can't be used to PseudoHaze when your opponent already has a Pokémon asleep.

Species Clause: You must use six different Pokémon on your team. No two can be the same.

Evasion Clause: Moves that specifically increase evasion are banned. Avoid the use of Accupressure, it has 1/7 chance to double your evasion.

OHKO Clause: Moves that automatically OHKO a Pokémon are banned.

No Ubers: Uber Pokémon are prohibited from standard play since they are overpowered. Deoxys-S and Garchomp have yet to find there place until they do they will be banned from tournaments.

No Hax Items: The following items are banned because they increase they rely on luck and alter thegameplay: BrightPowder, Focus Band, King's Rock, Lax Incense, Lucky Punch, Quick Claw, Razor Claw, Razor Fang, Scope Lens, and Stick.

No Disconnecting: You can't turn off your DS or move away from signal range to end a battle. This will result in an automatic loss. If a disconnection happens in the beginning of a battle, you can reconnect as long as the same moves are used. If the disconnection occurs later in the game and it can't be determined who disconnected, the player likely to have won the match will be given the win.
