The Shift Tournament

The rules for this tournament are pretty basic. You will select a different character for every brawl. I was going to think about doing a Random Tournament but I was a bit sure that some people were going to be slick and hand-pick their own character instead of the random option. Basically what the rules say is that if you use a particular character once, they cannot be used for the rest of the tournament.

Rules:
1 vs 1 single elimination
4 stock, no time limit
Best 2 out of 3 matches.
Items usage will be determined by both competitors.
(If they are going to be used, Smash Balls are banned in this tournament)
No banned stages

As for characters, if you are using Samus, you can still use Zero Suit Samus only if you know how to get her when the match starts. Pokemon Trainer is banned.

The date of the tournament will be determined when enough people join.
This is an 8-man tournament. I won't be joining so sign up while you can.
