Final Fantasy 7 is amazing for starters, but personal opinion shouldn't be why you finish it first. The reason why i say FF7 is because you have 3 final fantasy games on that list and Final Fantasy 7 was ground breaking. So if you take a look at where else it shows up, you'll see it isn't a lightweight as far as games go. Also, amazing storyline. And the other games that you have on the list are all great games, but Final Fantasy 7 is one of those games that when you think about other games, you'll say "It wasn't as good as FF7, but it's still good."=D

I personally don't really consider FF VII and X "strategy games" unless you challenge your self. IMO playing through a NSG-NR-NNE game on X was fun but even that was too easy because of Aeons, Trio of 9999 (Riku's OD) to Blitz Ace (Tidus' fourth OD) & Attack Reels (Wakka's second OD), Stonestrike/ touch, Deathstrike/ touch, Dark Matter, Petrify Breath (Kimhari's OD), etc.

Though X does have the Dark Aeons in the PAL teritories, the US version doesn't have much after you beat the Nemesis.

Well,when i said strategy i really meant games like FF tactics and tactics 2.

I beat FF tactics about a month ago, but I just recently beat FFX and OoT. Both endings were incredible, complete with epic boss fights and challenging final levels.

If you want challenging find a copy of Dragoneer's Aria.
Usually i die once or twice in a game, in DA I've died an average of about once per area from the start of the game.
