What's Most Important in a Battle?

I'm bored so I decided to make a random thread, and if you don't vote, a zombie monkey will come to your house and eat your brain,and steal your interwebz. Then all your interwebz are belong to me! random smilies are fun =\

What do you think is the most important skill to have in a battle?

The prediction skills to seemingly be able to read your opponents moves without a shadow of a doubt, like you're telling the future.

Pokemon so powerful that they can crush your opponent in the blink of an eye?

A war mind so great that you can plan the most flawless strategies on the face of the earth?

Enough luck that you can jump off of a skyscraper while tied to a drier and survive?

The team building skills that can let you build a team that can counter every Pokemon known to man, and still have enough power left over to win?

Vote on what you think is most important. No, a combo of them isn't a choice.

Wow, when I go back and read over this it sounds a lot stupider than I thought(which was pretty stupid). I wish I could add a mindgames option too.
Maybe I'll get enough milage out of this to boost my post count a bit

Every self-respecting battler knows that a mix of these qualities is needed in order to consistently win. Personally, if both me and my opponent were down to our final pokes, i'd rather have luck than any other attribute... oh wait <_<

All my best matches have come down to luck, so even though I had great strategies and predictions and solid teams in my best matches, what I'm remembered for most is the luck I've managed to have throughout those battles -_-

Yeah, I know a combination(sp?) of these is important, but I just like to force people to choose.

I have horrible luck, so I have long since given up ever winning any battle through luck, or anything else involving luck.

I think prediction is my biggest asset when it comes to battling.

Hm, I think good team building skillz are teh ownage.

Mostly strategy, and prediction will determine the outcome of the game.

luck luck luck! Everyone has acess to all the resources they need to make a perfect team. So as long as your battling someone on your level, I find there's just not a whole lot of suprises in team building or strategy.

I'm sure he ment that luck can you get far in battle's and it also can harm you even though you have an all powered team, killer strategies and flawless team building skillls. Ofcoarse these are the main aspects in making a winning team but luck can change everything for instance a critical hit can KO tanks and walls that are setting up, freeze/burn hax also can damage teams and so can alot of other types of luck hax.

Note: Not saying that i agree with him or anything, just trying to prove his point further.

Although i would consider having a mix of everything that has been stated in the OP, you need them all to consider having a good team and having a winning chance at the top level of competitive play. hmmm, not sure what i would vote individually though.....
